The HAROLD AND AUDREY FISHER BRAIN TUMOUR TRAINING STUDENTSHIP
This award provides two (2) stipends worth $10,000 to a graduate student (masters or doctoral level) conducting research directly related to brain tumours at The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital).
Guidelines :Students who have won awards over $10,000 for the 2025-2026 academic year are not eligible for this award.
Eligibility :
  1. Continuing M.Sc. and Ph.D. students from any program located at The Neuro who will be returning for full-time studies in both the Fall and Winter 2025-2026 academic year and are studying brain tumours.
  2. Students should have held an advisory committee meeting within the past twelve (12) months (this does not apply to students in their first year in the IPN, i.e. Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 entering cohorts).
  3. Students must not have received any awards external to their program (e.g. CIHR, NSERC, FRSQ, RI-MUHC, HBHL, and Faculty of Medicine Award) of $10,000 or more for 2025-2026
